Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity is unwilling to ignore the fact that many county residents live without decent or adequate shelter. Through our Christian Ministry we challenge all people of conscience to join in partnership with those in need to change their living conditions, and empower them to grow into all that God has intended.

Habitat for Humanity is a servant of the church that provides a concrete opportunity for people to put their faith into action. We are empowered and energized when the community of faith prays for Habitat, and when all join Habitat as partners in fellowship and service to others.

When people of faith join together with Habitat for Humanity to transform and revitalize our neighborhoods, they have an opportunity to put their faith into action in a practical and visible way. With each home that is built, the selfless efforts of the volunteers and the giving of our partners becomes testimony to the grace and love of Jesus Christ.  The power of this simple demonstration of God's love has touched thousands of lives right here in Lucas county.

All faith communities are invited to help those in need of adequate shelter, offer prayer, participate in construction, volunteer on committees, and put their faith into action. The Faith Relations Committee will seek to strengthen our partnership with all community faith organizations through prayer, volunteer opportunities, sponsorship and tithing.
 
Mission of Faith Relations

The Faith Relations Committee builds partnerships with God and faith communities in Lucas County to develop simple, affordable housing with and for people that are in need. The Committee reaches out to all faith based organizations and stimulates them into action, resulting in more families finding good homes that they would otherwise not be able to afford.
