Project Playhouse

Inspiring Homeownership At An Early Age

Hands, Hearts, & Hammers fill Fifth Third Field

What started out as a spark of imagination has grown into a signature event for Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who participated in the event. The end result was nothing short of magical.

The Playhouse Project is a program designed to teach young children the pride and joy of homeownership.

Each playhouse will take 5-6 hours to build and paint with the help of 8-10 volunteers. Each playhouse is pre-cut to allow groups to design and decorate.

Volunteers will assemble the sides, door, windows, and trim will construct the roof and paint the completed structure.

Event proceeds benefit families in Lucas County in need of affordable housing.

Special thanks to our incredible Blitz Build sponsors!
