Safety

Safety is an all-encompassing element of our commitment to prioritizing people as our most vital asset. Each work site – construction, ReStore or office – is focused on the prevention of accidents and injuries and educating volunteers and staff about appropriate safety concerns.

Our Safety Policy describes our overall commitment to safety and our safety program, training requirements and expectations, and specific actions to take (or not take) for different scopes of work or different tools in order to work safely.

Before Volunteering

Every volunteer is required at least annually to do three things before working on any of our sites:

• Read and Sign our Safety Summary
• Watch a ReStore Safety Video
• Sign a Waiver of Liability
