Welcome Youth Volunteers!

We are so pleased you are here and appreciate you wanting to learn about our Youth opportunities.  Through the efforts, and our partnership, with Leadership Toledo, we have created a variety of Youth activities and projects, ranging from grades K-12.

Whether you are a youth group looking for service hours, a group of friends looking to volunteer, or an individual wanting to give back to your community, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity is here to help.  Please see our chart below and feel free to contact our Volunteer Manager, Kelly Davis, [email protected] for more information.

Project Playhouse

Are you interested in helping prime and prep pieces that will be used to build playhouses at our annual Playhouse Project Blitz Build?  If so, we could use your help!  Painting is held onsite at the Habitat for Humanity building (behind the ReStore).  Grades 6-12 (minimum age of 11) are welcome, with a supervised adult/guardian.  Contact [email protected] for more information.

House Blessing/Dedication & Prayer Music

Would you like to help at a House Blessing/Dedication Ceremony by providing a prayer, reading a poem or planning/ playing music?  These dedications are held at various times throughout the year (typically May - November).  Suitable for students grades 7-12.  Contact [email protected] for more information.
